What is your favorite feature about this trailer?
My favorite thing is its inclusiveness. Everything I might need while exploring is conveniently packaged in this compact trailer.
I used to be a tent camper. Now I am a trailer camper.
There are many trailer options on the market, what made you go with a Second Wind trailer?
It was fortuitous. I was hiking and encountered a Second Wind Trailer and it’s owner. He raved about the trailer and that began my investigation into this trailer.
How often are you camping?
I just received my trailer 2 months ago. Due to some personal issues I have had to slow down my camping this summer. I have used it 3 times, but plan to use it for an extended journey in 2024.
We all go camping for different reasons, what is yours?
I enjoy nature. I like being in places little touched by humanity.
What vehicle are you towing your trailer with?
I have a 2023 Subaru Outback.
If you could describe this trailer in one word, what would that word be?

My favorite feature is the graphics. It has been a head turner.
With the smaller rig we are able to get into tighter spots that our 38’ rig cannot.

This welded receiver is rated for light duty, up to 200 lbs of cargo maximum. Used most often for a bike rack, or small storage add on, or a step. It's not intended to ever be used to tow any other trailer or items with wheels. Keep in mind that the weight should be kept to minimum while towing your trailer, as excessive weight placed at the rear of your trailer can add to a fish-tail effect.
Fridge Upgrade for Galley (+850)
The fridge pictured is intended to be an example of the type of fridge you can add, and not guaranteed to be the exact one that is available currently. We reserve the right to exchange the one pictured here for similar value a product that is of similar quality and size. Included in this price is a fridge + installation of a heavy duty drawer pullout for easy access + removable counter top lid.
Rack with crossbeams (+480)
The rack with crossbeams allows you to have several types of storage possibilities. Most often this includes using it for storage or securing kayaks up top. Also we make it simple to add your existing awning or a new 4'x6' or 6'x8' awning to one side or both sides.
6′ x 8′ or 4′ x 6′ Awning (+$425 or +$350)
11 lb Propane Tank + mount (+$250)
An 11 lb propane tank can be added to the side or front. Most often we add this tank to the front, where it can benefit you by adding some tongue weight. if you wish we can add a bracket to the rear opposite the heated water tank. The final placement decision is always up to you.
Built In 2 burner cooktop (+950)
The two burner cooktop is a popular addon, and requires a source of propane either mounted to your trailer (most convenient) or from your own external tank. We can fit it with a quick connect hose or plumb in the line so it's ready whenever you need to use it. There are several styles of these propane cooktops, and we try to give you the best options available at the time of the build.
Propane heated water & shower (+750)
The heated water / shower unit is pictured here as an example of what we can install, the brand and quality may vary slightly, but up to your approval. The system requires propane and we recommend you install an onboard propane tank, but is not absolutely required. You can have it setup so you can carry propane separately and attach it when you wish to use it. Function is fairly simple, and can be great for adding hot water to any season.
